I love lacquered walls. I first started to take note of them when I posted about the home of Ali Pincus. Ever since I saw her entryway they've been on my radar. The sparkle and shine of lacquered walls adds drama to any space. Especially when done in bold color choices.

I really like it, but I don't think I am that brave. I am going to have a ceiling painted in high gloss.
ReplyDeleteI love lacquered walls. I tried and failed :( at faking it by painting my dining room with high gloss paint. It just looked like a very shiny (and brown )orange.
ReplyDeleteIt has a certain character which is appealing but I don't think I would attempt this in my own home. For a client, yes. Gorgeous colors!
