June officially marks the year's halfway mark. Can you believe it?
I saw this space on Pinterest and totally fell in love. The touches of Pantone's 2012 color of the year tangerine tango, the natural elements, and the casual feel.

But, it got me thinking. Do you think that tangerine tango has been seen as much in design as the Pantone colors of years past? Remember honeysuckle 0f 2011? And turqouise of 2010?
Have a great weekend!

Beautiful image - what an inviting couch. I could never tire of the tango!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you ask that question - I was just pondering tangerine yesterday. I love it, have thought about using it, but so far have fallen pretty flat. I love the way this space uses the punches of fun color & pattern with the very traditional rug. I have a couple of ideas, but now I'm wondering, should I just wait till the 2013 is announced in a couple of months before I make any changes?
ReplyDeleteI love that photo too - a beautiful room. I just got rid of peach on every wall and trim of my house, so I can't take the plunge with tangerine, but I do love it used as a pop of color elsewhere!
ReplyDeleteI love that room with hints of orange. Orange is one of my most favorite colors, but it's hard to use in decor for more than accents, I find. This room is so tasteful and refreshing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
