I hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day! I sure did! I was terrribly spoiled this year!
We hosted a family brunch that was so much fun. We are so fortunate to have all of the family very close by. The guests of honor included myself, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my sister. My husband, son, Dad, brother-in-law, and beautiful little nieces were all also part of the celebration!
The best part...my husband took care of everything. The brunch menu consisted of bagels and cream cheese, scrambled eggs, coffee cake, fruit and granola parfait, and of course coffee and tea. Simple. And perfect.
Here was my lovely centerpiece. Created especially for me by my son. If you insist, I'll share the detailed tutorial in a later post. :)
And my gift was wrapped by my husband personally. Has your husband ever wrapped a gift for you? :) I honestly didn't even care how it looked or what was inside. The fact that he made the effort to wrap a gift was gift enough! And inside was this beautiful druzy necklace.
The best part of my day was the thought and love that went into making it special.
I hope everyone had a love filled Mother's Day! Could there be any more special gift than to have your family together?
