{Retail Therapy} Rug Thoughts

I've been searching for an area rug for my living room.  I find a beautiful style, and it's not the right color.  I find a color I love, and it's not the right size.  I find the right size, and it's way out of budget...or worse, out of stock!  Aaaaaaargh!

  1. Hi jeannie! I would probably choose that Dash and Albert rug. I love stripes. I was just reading a blog where the photos were taken in a store that carried D&A rugs. Oh my word, they are all so beautiful.
    I always purchase from overstock, so I'm no help but I love seeing all of your choices. Do post more if you find another site. Can't wait to see what you end up choosing. I would love a new living room rug but it's fairly new and in good shape. I just jumped the gun on it and feel like its not me. So take your time! : )

  5. I love the chevron rug and the overstock trellis... have you tried Rugusa.com? They have a great selection at and good price points!

  8. Love that Alexa rug from overstock...it's perfect, but seems like its always out of stock. I like Wayfair and rugsusa, they both regularly have discount codes for 20% off. But it can be hard to snag what you want before it's gone during these sales. Sometimes it's like a full time job checking back. Now that I know somewhat of what you like, I'll keep my eye out for you too!

  9. Love the stripes! rugsusa sometimes has the same rugs at overstock, so it's always worth checking to see which are cheaper at the time. Good luck!
