I know you've lost sleep on many a night waiting to find out exactly what color I chose to paint the back. Here is the original post from way back in September.
I had been debating between a rich blue green, chocolate brown, navy, or charcoal gray. Since I love white ceramics and accessories I decided to go with a color that would create contrast. If you guessed charcoal gray you win! :)
It's hard to tell from the photo, but the entire bookshelf received a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore Dove White. The back of the bookshelf in Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze color matched to Benjamin Moore paint.
The before. Simple, pretty, and functional, but missing the design wow factor.
And now on to the styling.

You're right, Jean, that was just what it needed! Your light accessories will look perfect against it!

ReplyDeleteStyling is the fun and hard part! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove it. And love the idea. Dread the idea of all that taping off ... I am cursed with an unsteady hand coupled with failing near-sighted vision!
